Quick Reference Guide

Perception:

• 4 to 7: Easy Situation.
  • Loud Noise
  • Bright colored object over a white background.
  • Finding something hastily or poorly hidden.

• 8 to 13: Moderate Situation:
  • Looking for someone or something in a well lit area.
  • Slight noise.

• 14 to 16: Challenging Situation:
  • Looking for something in poor light, fog, murky water or under desperate circumstances.
  • Hearing something over a noisy background.
  • Finding something concealed or masked.

• 17 +: Difficult Situation:
  • Finding something in the dark or masterfully hidden (may be supplemented with a Detect Concealment skill roll.)
  • Hearing something over a loud din, or something silent as the wind.
  • Noticing something odd out in the middle of great confusion.

Being Blinded:

• All combat bonuses negated, also -10 to all combat rolls. Speed reduced 30-50%.

Shooting and Targeting Bonuses and Penalties:

• Aimed Shot: +2 (Takes 2 melee attacks)
• Called Shot: -4 to -11 to hit depending on the target. (Takes 2 melee attacks)
• Shooting Blind: -10 to attack
• Target is Moving: -1 to attack, -1 per 50 mph, and -1 for evasive action. (Negatives for speed are nullified by targeting computers in Mecha (Cyclones not included)
• Target behind cover: Requires a called shot.
• Dodging gunfire, within 10 feet. -10 to dodge
• Dodging Gunfire within 50 feet. -5 to dodge

Dodging Bullets & Energy Blasts:

• May ONLY dodge attacks they can SEE!
