Gunboat Variants

The Horizon spacecraft, while used for Transport, AWACS, and Search & Rescue was a natural choice to be modified into a Gunboat. Taking the lessons learned from the use of the AC-47 and AC-130, as well as the Mi-24 Hind and venerable B-25, three versions of gunship have been introduced.

LCT-14 Horizon-G

The G Variant has been designed for ground support. While sporting formidable armament the use of this variant necessitates the achievement of Air Supremacy to fully employ it’s ‘Loiter’ capabilities, otherwise, the vehicle makes a fine transport escort and can suppress a LZ with its multiple railguns. The G Variant carries it’s weaponry on a centerline mounted ‘cargo bunker’ rather than two pylon mounted ones.

  • NOTE: All versions carry the same basic armament mounted by the basic Horizon.
