"Yeah, drilling holes I'd think is a last resort, if we can find a real entrance. I'd hope. But then, real entrances are going to be heavily guarded."

[08:21:31] GM: You can see the tunnels closest to the surface clearly, but as you move further into the mountain the blur out then nothing.

[08:22:23] GM: You also note that the mountain area is about 40 to 60 square miles and the UEEF has gotten the area pretty well surrounded. There are concentrations of troops in Sectors 5, 8, and 12

[08:24:51] UEEF unrolls the map on a nearby foldaway table and you can see a crisp clean scan of an older Karberran Map.

Supposedly it's not as unstable as ore, but if we could find a way to make it unstable it might be enough to bring the whole system down on them. If we can get to it. It also scrambles radar nicely."

Barring that, it's a matter of finding the weakest entrance for infiltration to get a bomb into place."

[09:43:57] GM: You ground pounders mount up and head out in your Cyclones. It takes you a good hour and a half to reach Sector 12's AO. As you travel, you can hear the ripping linoleum sound of Fairman and the others conducting their runs, sounding much like the old A-10's from your history vids.
[09:45:23] GM: You pass lines of vehicles on the road, but as you near Sector 12 things begin to peter out. There is not much fire, outbound or inbound, and things here seem, relatively quiet.
[09:47:06] 2Lt. Aylanea blinks at the quietness, scratching her head and looking around. "Hmm…" She ponders just a moment at the quietness, as she starts thinking on which potential entrance point to check first.
