[07:33:29] GM: It's been a week since the Haydonite saboteur was slain, and the damage it caused is all but repaired. the tension aboard ship is high, but the Captain and her department heads have kept the crew (including) you so busy that you don't have time to stress out.
[07:35:14] GM: Free RP as you land after another CAP flight as Pilot Fish for the trio of capital ships.
[07:36:10] CWO2 Sarah climbs out from her cockpit and looks around quickly, stretching out idly and relaxing on the deck for just a moment. She pulls her helmet off and shakes out her hair slightly, glancing around at the others.
[07:36:51] 2 LT Komillia: Can exhaustion lead to more stress than worrying?
[07:37:22] Lt. Jaron climbs out of his alpha, stretching as well. Then looks to Komillia "Some might say yes but I don't think so."
[07:37:49] 2Lt. Aylanea wanders over to the others and shrugs slightly. "Not sure. Guess we'll find out for sure."
[07:38:33] Lt. Ishida hops out of her Alpha, and like a machine, post flights it, nods to the others and trots over to flight ops.
[07:39:58] Lt. Jaron moves to follow Suki to flight ops "You know you don't have to do that anymore. Unless its something special for the Major"
[07:40:18] Lt. Ishida: Do what elltee?
[07:40:57] Lt. Ishida replies, not missing a beat in her stride.
[07:41:05] Lt. Jaron: "The report ops. Aylanea or I can do"
[07:42:04] Lt. Ishida: I see.
[07:42:54] Lt. Ishida: All the same, I'll continue. It's good practice, and I'm sure you would agree a third eye on the paperwork can only help ensure it's accuracy.
[07:44:27] Lt. Jaron nods "Very well. Just giving you a chance to ease your responsibilities"

[07:44:59] Lt. Ishida: My responsibilities will ease once the last Haydonite is nothing but scrap metal.
[07:45:16] Lt. Fallnya would have went strait to her quarters wanting a nice hot shower and some time away from the squad

[07:45:49] Lt. Ishida looks Jaron in the eye to let him know she means what she said.
[07:45:51] CWO2 Sarah stretches a little little bit and looks around again, holding her helmet under an arm. She turns to look at the corridor. "Hm. I need a shower. Back once I'm clean."
[07:46:26] Lt. Jaron nods and smiles "Just make sure you don't over do it."
[07:46:40] Lt. Ishida nods with a slight bow
[07:46:45] Lt. Ishida: Hai taicho!
[07:47:06] Lt. Ishida calls after Sarah.
[07:47:08] Lt. Ishida: Wait up!
[07:47:35] CWO2 Sarah glances over to wait up for Suki, nodding and smiling. "Okay." She settles into a spot then.
[07:48:35] GM: Lu arrives at her quarters, it is as she had left it, except the cat food dish is half empty and the litter box is half full.
[07:48:53] Lt. Jaron does his own report with flight ops.
[07:49:24] Gage is at his security post, thinking of past events
[07:49:48] GM: Free RP means off duty time there Gage lol
[07:50:28] GM: It's also for the characters to interact as much, or as little as they want…
[07:50:51] 2Lt. Aylanea watches the techs working on the planes for a moment, her own helmet now pulled, hair pulled out so she can relax and dry it out. She glances over at the others heading to flight ops, and glances over to the others. "Hm."
[07:51:32] Lt. Ishida smiles as she catches up to Sarah, bumping her playfully as she passes her on her way into flight ops.
[07:51:51] 2 LT Komillia: Ok, I'm going to grab something to eat. Who's coming with?
[07:52:05] Lt. Ishida calls over her shoulder.
[07:52:17] CWO2 Sarah laughs a little at the bump, smiling brightly to Suki
[07:52:25] Lt. Ishida: We'll join you as soon as we've changed, say, 10 mikes?
[07:52:25] 2Lt. Aylanea looks up. "Sure."
[07:53:21] Gage is now off his shift and heads to change out of the clunky cyclone
[07:54:11] Lt. Fallnya cleans it up puts fresh litter and food in, then lays on the bed after stripping mostly naked
[07:54:20] GM: Gage drops his VR off at the armory and signs it back in, then he is freeeee.
[07:56:06] Lt. Ishida drops off her paperwork then joins Sarah in the shower for some fanservice then changes into some UEEF issue off duty garb to join Komillia in the mess hall
[07:56:06] Gage heads to clean up and eventually get some grub
[07:57:30] CWO2 Sarah smiles and enjoys the fanservice, taking an active part certainly. She slips her own off duty clothes on, and follows right along behind Suki to the mess.
[07:57:31] 2 LT Komillia is looking at the "menu". "Ok, I'll have the noodle-shaped sludge, the steak-shaped meat surprised, and the vegetable slush. And about a gallon of water to wash it down.
[07:58:14] Lt. Jaron finishes up his report as well and off to change…
[07:58:21] GM: As Gage makes his way to the mess hall there is a slight noise behind him and then a playful smack to the back of the head as a spry Anji lands next to and slightly ahead of him
[07:58:33] 2Lt. Aylanea heads to the mess, stopping for a quick shower herself. She slips in quickly though, not having fanservice to do. She slips her way towards the line, looking around.

[08:06:52] LCpl Summerwind laughs at Suki, conceding that one. She nods to Ay.

[08:08:03] 2Lt. Aylanea laughs a little and nods. "Good girl. Can't have you being naughty after all."
[08:08:21] LCpl Summerwind looks over at the others and snickers.

[08:09:21] LCpl Summerwind slides into line, grabs her grub and sits with the others.
[08:09:54] GM: This is of course met with some shakes of the head by other sin the mess halls along with rolled eyes.

[08:10:32] Lt. Jaron soon enters and gets some food as well
[08:12:16] 2 LT Komillia pokes her food several dozen times. "You know, I think we're lab rats, and this is some sort of mutagen they're using to create supersoldiers, or at least mindless soldiers who don't complain nearly as much."
[08:12:31] CWO2 Sarah laughs a little at Anji and Ay, and hmms slightly at Suki. "doesn't look like she's here yet. Did she say she was coming to eat?"
[08:13:13] Lt. Jaron sits with the others "I don't think so."
[08:13:22] LCpl Summerwind looks over at Komi,
[08:13:46] LCpl Summerwind: Nah, but watch out, if the UEEF ever starts to feed us food paste, then you gotta worry.
[08:13:46] 2Lt. Aylanea settles in with her food quickly as well. "Well, whatever it is, it isn't working." She smiles and shrugs. "But then, I'm used to the food more than a lot of people."

[08:14:27] 2 LT Komillia: I thought this was poorly disguised food paste.

[08:15:42] 2Lt. Aylanea rolls her eyes at Anji, and laughs a bit towards Komi. "Ew." She glances over at Anji and laughs even more.
[08:16:26] Lt. Ishida shakes her head with a wry grin as she eats with her chopsticks.
[08:18:06] 2 LT Komillia: Nah, then I'd have to pilot a Q-Rau, and they have way too many missiles.
[08:18:21] LCpl Summerwind: What with you and your missile hate anyway?
[08:18:43] Lt. Ishida: She finds them dishonorable.

[08:19:06] CWO2 Sarah laughs a little bit. "Remind me not to eat if we have to find out. I'll just have to snitch a fuel can or something and try to drink that." She rolls her eyes and hmms, thinking a moment.
[08:19:46] 2 LT Komillia: Personal combat philosophy: Missiles are weapons that require the least of amount of skill, and are therefore soulless attacks. The more skill required in combat, the more of oneself is communicated in the combat.
[08:20:11] 2 LT Komillia: And therefore a melee attack is the most soulful, the missiles and explosives, the most soulless.
[08:20:25] 2Lt. Aylanea laughs a little. "Fine for what she flies. I don't mind the missiles. But then, I'd need the cockpit controls adjusted if I tried to fly it. Or would need to learn how to read Zentraedi."

[08:31:02] 2 LT Komillia: I mostly watch the Super Robot shows, I mean if I could find a mecha with a sword, or chains, that is every bit as effective with those weapons as my Bioroid at the very least, I'd be very happy.

[08:35:18] CWO2 Sarah glances over at Komillia then. "The problem with that is, by now, everyone has long range weapons on their mecha. Because those weapons hit harder. Depending on the kind of battle. In open combat unless you're mobbing the enemy to the point they can't shoot all targets before melee range, you'd never get into range for a sword or chain, before being fired on repeatedly."
[08:36:28] Lt. Ishida seems to be listening to this line of conversation with a bit more interest. Watching now to see what Komillia's reaction will be.
[08:38:08] 2 LT Komillia: Not ENTIRELY true there, the main reason for the switch to firearms WAS indeed due to the increase of range. But at the time the long bow was still better, the main reason for the switch is that firearms and the like require less skill to use efficiently, and therefore were easier to train in less time.
[08:38:59] 2 LT Komillia: Over time the lack or research into melee weapons because they weren't used has led to the power disparity.
[08:39:59] 2Lt. Aylanea listens quietly to the conversation.
[08:41:07] 2 LT Komillia: I mean a vibroblade could hypothetically cut just as well as a missile destroys if fully perfected. Hypothetically, anyway.
[08:41:33] Lt. Ishida looks back down to her meal, continuing to eat.
[08:41:46] CWO2 Sarah hmms at that. "Wasn't there a movie once where someone did a spectacular display of sword work, only to have the one they were facing pull up a gun and shoot them dead after the display the intended to intimidate with?"

[08:45:51] 2 LT Komillia: I mean it is possible to get a melee fighter who is better than the gun, but that require the melee fighter to be a teleporter, or impossibly fast.

[08:47:51] CWO2 Sarah shrugs just a little and offers Suki a smile. "Was just noticing you looking, wondered if something was up." She glances over to Komi then. "Hm… the problem with that is the strain put on by the teleport itself. Even at short range, there's a recovery time for the effort involved."
[08:48:40] Lt. Ishida nods then turns back to her meal, and then snerks slightly as Sarah qualifies her statement regards teleportation.
[08:49:13] 2 LT Komillia: Again, I'm not out of touch with reality, I'm just pointing out the only way I could see it working, and even I admit we'd be in the realm of the fantastic for it to even work 1/10th of the time.

[08:50:17] CWO2 Sarah hears the snerk, and laughs just a bit, shaking her head slightly. She nods at Komi then.

[09:34:54] 2 LT Komillia cheers at leaving the nebula.
[09:35:14] GM: ((end, if it was a clearing you wouldn't be able to see stars and open…black…space.
[09:35:52] Lt. Ishida: Yata! Homeplate! Hitman Three confirms!
[09:36:51] GM: Behind you the awe inspiring sight of two Shimakaze class battle crusiers exiting into open space followed by a Tou Redir greets you.
[09:37:38] CWO2 Sarah sighs happily and stretches, settling into her seat.
[09:37:44] GM: You realize this is the first time in nearly a month you have seen open space.
[09:38:41] 2 LT Komillia: YAY! Maybe now we can go someplace interesting and maybe even get resupplied properly.
[09:39:19] CWO2 Sarah nods just a little. "If we're lucky, the Phoenix is out or will be out soon, as well."
[09:40:51] Lt. Jaron smiles as well and glad to be out "So where did we come out at?"
[09:41:20] 2 LT Komillia: The anal end of nowhere?
[09:41:52] CWO2 Sarah looks around, tries to think about where it might be, and tries to evaluate relative position to anything, trying to call a map up on her VT. [1d100] => [4] = (4) space navigation
[09:42:21] GM: On the bridges of the Battle cruisers cheers go up. On the Yukikaze, the Captian allows for some backslapping before she calls her crew back to their stations. Sensor sweeps are conducted and the Phoenix is not located.

[09:43:15] GM: Unable to scan any enemy vessels either, the Captain orders the ships back into the nebula and launches recon birds at regular intervals.
[09:44:00] GM: After a few more days, the Captain makes a decision. The Yukikaze and the wounded Tou Redir will fold to Karbarran space while the Miyuki waits for the Phoenix.
[09:44:53] GM: All wounded and sick personnel from the Miyuki are transferred to the Yukikaze and all reserves of food, fuel and ammunition are sent to the Miyuki.
[09:45:41] GM: Free RP for a bit during the transfer.
[09:46:40] CWO2 Sarah: (( we all drafted into helping transfer stuff? ))

[09:47:17] Lt. Jaron: "they must have hit a big storm or something to have lost contact"

[09:48:17] CWO2 Sarah sighs a little and glances to Komillia. "That's…what I'm worried about."
[09:48:22] Lt. Ishida: Stow that bilge Maeless.
[09:48:28] Lt. Ishida huffs.
[09:48:55] CWO2 Sarah hmms. "But we know they were all right at least, we got the recon flight from them at one point…" She considers that.
[09:49:04] Lt. Ishida: Until we hear otherwise the Phoenix is combat effective.
[09:52:03] Lt. Jaron: "Agreed Suki. Lets just make sure the transfer goes smoothly"
[09:52:39] CWO2 Sarah nods just a little bit.
[09:54:58] GM: That it for the RP?
[09:55:07] 2Lt. Aylanea just tries to help with the moving, herself, not getting involved.

[09:57:39] GM: The transfer is achieved after some hours and the crew is put on Red Alert as the two ships leave the Nebula.
[09:58:32] GM: The Yukikaze contacts the Karberran homeworld, informing them of their arrival and once conformation via fold communication is received the ship is locked down for the fold.
[09:59:39] GM: The fold initiates and the bridge informs the crew that they will be in fold space for upwards of 4 hours.
[10:00:27] CWO2 Sarah sits through the fold worrying about Suki's stomach issues.
[10:01:01] Lt. Ishida has taken her Dramamine but still looks miserable.
[10:01:16] Lt. Jaron reads some of his Tirolian book for the next few hours.
[10:01:21] CWO2 Sarah keeps arms wrapped around Suki to comfort her.

[10:02:34] GM: About thirty minutes to defold and the call to alert stations comes over the PA
[10:03:23] GM: Thirty minutes later the ship drop out of fold.

[10:04:09] GM: The ship goes to Yellow Alert some 5 minutes later.
[10:04:23] Lt. Jaron puts his book away and waits
[10:04:30] GM: All pilots are called to their respective ready rooms.
[10:05:05] 2 LT Komillia is in the ready room, suited up, upon being called.
[10:05:08] 2Lt. Aylanea hurries to the ready room.
[10:05:26] Lt. Jaron heads that way
[10:05:30] CWO2 Sarah heads there all suited up, with Suki.

[10:10:56] Maj. Kavashera: Okay, the short of it, we are in Karberran Space, in orbit over Karberra. We entered fold on November 15th. Due to time dilation, we have defolded November 30th. The ships clock has been updated, please be sure to update your personal electronic devices.
[10:12:38] Maj. Kavashera: The Captain has placed us on Yellow Alert. All UEEF and KDF craft are at that level, so, we're just following the crowd on that one. Pilot, be advised there is a dogfight about 500 klicks from here. KDF and UEEF forces have it in hand, but the Cap'n want you on standby just in case.
[10:13:41] Maj. Kavashera: As it stands, we are to deliver the Tou and her cargo to KDF Space Dock 5, after which we will rendezvous with the Trinity Docks.
[10:14:11] Maj. Kavashera: Once docked, all 33rd personnel will debark for transfer ground side.
[10:15:39] Maj. Kavashera: Seems that the Haydonites have landed forces along the equatorial regions, and while the UEEF dirt-side have them well surrounded, we're going down to play 'Force Multiplier' a lot of the brass want to see if the bold new experiment of a Raider unit works as well in a gravity well as it does in space.
[10:16:53] Maj. Kavashera: So, pilots to your craft, we should know in the next five minutes if you'll be needed. NCO's get with your men, get them ready for debarkation. Any questions?

[10:44:16] GM: Komillia, you see a few odd craft now as the Yukikaze approaches the Trinity Docks (perc on that for Suki, Sarah, and Lu) One is a battloid that is rather bulky bearing KDF markings but looks UEEF made. (I'll have pic and stats up on it in a few days) as well as obviously 'homegrown' space fighters.
[10:45:28] Lt. Ishida: As I said, we will talk about it later.
[10:45:56] CWO2 Sarah sighs, hushes up then. "Yes ma'am."

[10:49:31] Lt. Ishida: Good eye, yes. I think it is.
[10:50:31] CWO2 Sarah nods just a little bit and smiles. "Yep… probably already looking at us coming and saying "them again?" or something like that, if they remember us."
[10:50:50] Lt. Ishida: If it is, then we should be honored guests.
