Chapter 18 - Act II - Part 3

[07:31:21] GM: please make your rolls, you will have had a full melee round to do so while the others had seured the remainder of the bay.
[07:34:43] Capt Kain Crockett examines the bay and questions those we took down to get info on what else may come our way. [1d20+1] => [7,1] = (8) PERC, [1d100] => [44] = (44) vs 70 RSI, [1d100] => [59] = (59) vs 71 Intelligence, [1d100] => [53] = (53) vs 75 Interrogation, [1d100] => [78] = (78) vs 70 Surveilance (assuming a ship security console I can access is nearby), [1d100] => [51] = (51) vs 65 Detect Ambush, [1d100] => [70] = (70) vs 60 Track People
[07:35:41] LtJG Silver attempts scann the vessle and monitor communications on board (( perception [1d20+2] => [14,2] = (16) Sensory Equipment [1d100] => [27] = (27) vs 60% AEW [1d100] => [16] = (16) vs 65% Radio basic [1d100] => [23] = (23) bvs 85
[07:36:27] 2lt.Alvaro doesnt do much other than his job (perception [1d20+2] => [19,2] = (21), detect concealment [1d100] => [11] = (11) vs 45)
[07:36:45] 2Lt. Sarah watches for any signs of trouble or interest within the bay as well, scanning and looking. [1d20+1] => [1,1] = (2) perc, [1d100] => [7] = (7) vs. 80% detect concealment, [1d100] => [52] = (52) vs. 85% detect ambush, [1d100] => [83] = (83) vs. 75% rsi
[07:36:52] WO Febrith Nyx will interrogate any prisoners, question any surivors of the freighter crew, and generally gather info. [1d20+1] => [16,1] = (17) PERC, [1d100] => [29] = (29) vs 53 RSI, [1d100] => [14] = (14) vs 68 Psych Warfare, [1d100] => [21] = (21) vs 63 Intelligence, [1d100] => [48] = (48) vs 68 Interrogation, [1d100] => [84] = (84) vs 92 Chram
[07:36:52] GM: Sensors tell you the bay is clear of hostiles, there are two of those zent shuttles in it, obviously not part of the ships original kit. Intell tells you that you should likely expect another 30 to 40 pirates aboard. This is confirmed by your hasty interrogation of the two prisoners.
[07:37:28] 2Lt. Sarah: (( *sees squirrels, but got a 7 on detect conealment ))
[07:37:45] 2Lt. Sarah: (( must be concealed squirrels ))
[07:38:00] WO Febrith Nyx: (([(40/13)*8] => 24 seconds to clear the ship if they are all in a row))
[07:38:04] GM: Nyx you are able to furhter glean that the majority of the enemy would be forward, taking over the ships control centers.
[07:39:04] GM: The rest of the ohter RSi rolls are supurfulous, and tell teh same thing, hanger bay is secure.
[07:39:27] LtJG Silver: (( no ship board comms going i take it ^_^ ))
[07:39:52] GM: Silver, you are able to patch into the ships systems, and can confirm that there are enemy forces in the crew and command areas, screams and yelling can be hears.
[07:40:42] GM: there aren't very many camera's abaord, but of the ones that are, they show the boat bay, (Smile!) and engineering, which confirms at least three pirates there, the camera'a that you figure would be on the bridge are all offline.
[07:42:51] GM: Also, since I'm SUCH a nice guy, I give a hint by way of letting you know that while in certian situations a split party is a night mare to a GM, in some cases, it's a necessary evil…
[07:43:53] GM: with that being said, time for a command decision and for you to get off your lazy duffs and back into the fight!
[07:44:25] 2Lt. Sarah: (( k back ))
[07:44:44] LtJG Silver attempts to patch the communications over to kain as he brings him up on comms "we have a few targets in engeneering, and im getting alot of chatter on comms, i cant make it out sounds rough in the crew and command areas"
[07:44:44] 2Lt. Sarah: (( was just gonna say that, we need to send a couple back and some to the front ))
[07:45:56] LtJG Silver: ignore the patch the comm over to kain part :P
[07:47:40] LtJG Silver: (( couldnt make up my mind what to post and thought i cleared that :P lol ))
[07:47:42] GM: Kain be large and in charge.
[07:50:42] Capt Kain Crockett: ((Quick question: How many non-PC marines and doggies do we have?))
[07:50:50] GM: ((just yall))
[07:55:32] Capt Kain Crockett: "Alright, we have situations in the command, crew and engineering. We are going to first take to the engineering sections so they don't try to overload the engines or self-destruct us. We will then secure teh crew quarters, their may be families and children there so the less time we give them to do with them as they please the better. We will then secure the command section and subsequently the ship. Do not hesitate to turn the pirates into gore in front of any kids. I garuntee you that will be less harm done to them than letting the pirates have their way. Go people! Now!"
[07:57:19] GM: Okay, you begin to move as one towards the rear of the ship, [1d100] => [59] = (59)
[07:57:45] GM: You get past Cargo bay 3 with no issues and move on past bay 4 [1d100] => [99] = (99)
[07:58:34] GM: I want a perc from the single person on point. Only ONE per roll, from the point man.
[07:58:55] LtJG Silver: [1d20+2] => [14,2] = (16)
[07:59:07] Capt. Komillia Maeless: [1d20] => [4] = (4)
[07:59:15] Capt. Komillia Maeless: ((oops/))
[07:59:33] Capt. Komillia Maeless: ((accidental click))
[08:00:18] 2lt.Alvaro follows behind the doggie
[08:00:19] GM: As the dog lopes along ahead it's on board sensors pick up heat and movement ahead.
[08:02:25] LtJG Silver stops "we have movement" checking his scanners for what may lie ahead ( AEW [1d100] => [44] = (44) vs 65% SE [1d100] => [94] = (94)vs 60% detect concealment [1d100] => [65] = (65) vs 30% detect ambush [1d100] => [18] = (18) vs45%))
[08:02:30] 2lt.Alvaro: (storming, just fyi if I go)
[08:02:40] Capt. Komillia Maeless: "Are they trying to overheat the engines again?"
[08:02:52] 2lt.Alvaro brings his M90 up and looks around
[08:03:40] 2Lt. Sarah checks her M90c's, getting ready for any problems.
[08:03:57] GM: You cant tell what exactly the heat is, but it's roughtly man sized diffuse, and coming from the left side of a + intersection you are approaching.
[08:05:01] LtJG Silver: "ahead of us at the next intersection, i cant get a clear view but watch our nine o'clock."
[08:06:15] LtJG Silver: "want me to move on up ahead for a closer look?"
[08:06:22] Capt Kain Crockett brigns his weapon to bear in the general direction of the signature "Alright, we know you're waiting at the next intersection, surrender you are outnumbered and outgunned."
[08:06:24] 2lt.Alvaro replies on com "Roger that Hounddog"
[08:06:46] GM: [1d100] => [99] = (99)
[08:07:26] GM: You hear some voices speaking Tiresian talking back and forth, then the low rustle of battle rattle.
[08:08:30] Capt Kain Crockett: [1d20+1] => [14,1] = (15) PERC, [1d100] => [25] = (25) vs 65 Intelligence.
[08:08:56] Capt Kain Crockett: "Final warning, you can't survive against an REF assault team."
[08:09:04] GM: [1d100] => [79] = (79)
[08:09:42] GM: As you sound out your second warning, a individual in Legionaires armor rounds the bend with weapons drawn.
[08:10:09] GM: he is followed by one more as a thrid takes upa cover position at the corner.
[08:10:59] Capt Kain Crockett: ((I'm sorry, this reeks to much of a "setup" for us to do something we'll regret later. Until they id themselves or start firing I'm not committing aggressive action.))
[08:11:33] 2Lt. Sarah: (( lol ))
[08:11:42] 2lt.Alvaro: (weapon drawn and aimed?)
[08:12:03] GM: At which point the three open fire, as the first two into the corridor triple time it (they are tiresian after all) to the other side of teh corridor and take up cover positions. [3d20] => [20,20,4] = (44) all at +7
[08:12:42] GM: [3d6] => [1,1,6] = (8) at 1 Silver, 2 Nyx, 3, Kain, 4 Alvar, 5 Sarah, 6 Komi
[08:12:57] 2Lt. Sarah: (( eek, puppy :( ))
[08:13:49] Silver's Hound jumps around the hall trying to avoid the incoming fire [1d20+6] => [15,6] = (21) [1d20+6] => [12,6] = (18)
[08:13:51] Capt. Komillia Maeless: [1d20+13] => [1,13] = (14)
[08:14:02] Silver's Hound: nm 20's lol
[08:14:18] GM: [(3d6+3)*2] => 38 and [(1d4*10+10)*2] => 60 and for Komi [3d6+3] => [1,4,4,3] = (12)
[08:14:57] GM: [145-98] => 47
[08:15:03] GM: [1d100] => [16] = (16)
[08:15:10] Silver's Hound: (( 38 and 60 to main body? ))
[08:15:41] GM: Yes
[08:15:45] Silver's Hound: [123-98] => 25
[08:16:10] GM: The dog is battered by the attack and staggers back, large chunks of it's armor blown away.
[08:16:28] GM: Komi take 12 to her armor MB
[08:17:25] GM: komi's action
[08:18:27] Capt. Komillia Maeless charges forward and stabs the first terminator in the face with both weapons. [1d20+9] => [3,9] = (12) [1d20+9] => [9,9] = (18)
[08:18:56] 2lt.Alvaro: (just wondering, how big is the hallway?)
[08:19:03] GM: Your slices prang off the corner of the corridor. (called shot, and under cover, needs to bet a 12 to hit))
[08:19:28] GM: Large enough for three people in day clothing to walk side by side.
[08:20:16] 2lt.Alvaro: "Get to pup through the intersection"
[08:20:16] GM: Sarah, your turn, target 1 is obscured by Komi, if you wish to shot it past her, you will have to roll a natural 17 or higher.
[08:20:38] GM: Otherwise your targets are 12 or higher to hit as they are also using cover
[08:21:17] 2Lt. Sarah aims for target two, and fires her M90c quickly. [1d20+7+5] => [6,7,5] = (18)
[08:21:20] 2Lt. Sarah: (( fail ))
[08:21:30] GM: Nyk and Kain, then Alvaro
[08:23:04] GM: actually, oops, que up those attacks there james, but komi and saraqh go again
[08:23:17] GM: erg… sorry, just komi goes again,
[08:23:29] GM: ((Ill figure this damn chart out yet..))
[08:23:55] WO Febrith Nyx aims her EP-37 for the head of one of the Terminators. [1d20+4] => [2,4] = (6)
[08:24:18] GM: Okay, so in order, Komi, Nyx misses, Kain, Alvaro,
[08:24:46] Capt Kain Crockett levels his H-260 at the enemy. [1d20+10] => [15,10] = (25)
[08:24:58] GM: [1d20+8] => [18,8] = (26)
[08:25:10] GM: And the guy pulls back behind the corner just in the nick of time.
[08:25:14] Capt. Komillia Maeless moves around the corner and stabs the enemy in the face. [1d20+9] => [7,9] = (16)
[08:25:29] GM: [1d20+8] => [14,8] = (22) parry
[08:25:39] GM: Alvaro
[08:26:00] Silver's Hound: " i'm getting all kinds off bells and whistles, i think this hound has had it, i'll try to do what i can to keep her going as long as possible "
[08:27:00] 2lt.Alvaro grumbles at the congestion at the intersection "damn" and moves to cross the intersection on the other side.
[08:29:03] GM: Pirates, the one in front of Komi shoots at her, as does the one behind her that had previously dodged Kains attack (since Komi is in full hotblood slice n dice paired weapon mode shr forsakes her ability to dodge. [1d20+7] => [8,7] = (15) P1 and [1d20+7] => [5,7] = (12) P2
[08:29:30] GM: both shots will hit main body, although Komi does have an oppurtunity to parry away the strike in front of her
[08:30:10] Capt. Komillia Maeless parries the attack [1d20+13] => [8,13] = (21)
[08:30:14] GM: [1d4*10+10] => 30
[08:30:15] Capt. Komillia Maeless: [1d20+13] => [18,13] = (31)
[08:30:25] GM: You slap the gun hand away just in time, but take 30 to the back
[08:30:53] GM: which blows your rear thruster to itty bitty bits
[08:31:29] GM: the final pirate opens fire at [1d5] => [5] = (5)
[08:31:49] GM: Sarah [1d20=7] => 1d20=7
[08:31:55] GM: [1d20+7] => [6,7] = (13)
[08:32:51] GM: Silver, your action (I guess frags are out, especially if Komi owes you money…)
[08:33:05] LtJG Silver: (( lol ))
[08:33:24] 2Lt. Sarah: [1d20+17] => [8,17] = (25) dodge
[08:33:28] 2Lt. Sarah: (( hehe ))
[08:34:37] LtJG Silver charges forward to cover komi's rear [1d20+4] => [9,4] = (13) (leap attack on nearest enemy shooting at komi from behind… eats 2 of my actions though :P )
[08:34:57] LtJG Silver: (( yeah was going to pop frag but dont want to hit my own guys lol ))
[08:35:22] GM: That target is fully under cover, so is unable to be hit, but the other one that shot at sarah is partialy visable, but the dog misses.
[08:35:37] LtJG Silver: if i round the corner i should be able to
[08:35:37] GM: Komi
[08:35:44] LtJG Silver: (( kk ))
[08:36:07] GM: (yes, but that will take another action, you have moved to position 1 action, attack 2nd, so you have to wait till your turn comes around again)
[08:36:26] Capt. Komillia Maeless uses a dual strike to try and decapitate the first so she could turn her attentions to the back-shooter. [1d20+9] => [2,9] = (11) [1d20+9] => [4,9] = (13)
[08:36:27] LtJG Silver: (( kk well ill move up then ))
[08:36:43] Capt. Komillia Maeless: ((the crap is up with these dice?))
[08:36:44] GM: [1d20+8] => [3,8] = (11) parry
[08:37:00] GM: Did him no good.. you got a piece of him with the second slice
[08:37:17] GM: Sarah
[08:37:49] GM: Sarah, the partially exposed pirate is near the dog, so to thread that needle, a 15+ nat to hit is required
[08:38:21] 2Lt. Sarah: (( sigh. Yeah, not trying that. ))
[08:38:27] GM: At which point Alvaro is like all 'Glad I'm not stuck in THAT traffic jam!"
[08:39:00] 2Lt. Sarah grumbles at the trap. "We need to get more room somehow…" she looks for ways to get more. [1d20+1] => [13,1] = (14) perc
[08:39:00] Capt. Komillia Maeless: [3d6+14] => [1,3,1,14] = (19)
[08:39:16] Capt. Komillia Maeless: ((+14, so 27))
[08:39:19] 2lt.Alvaro: (hehe yep)
[08:39:32] Capt. Komillia Maeless: (read the wrong roll.)
[08:39:38] GM: Well, you could try to get past the clog and over to Alvaro with a well aimed thruster leap, (Control roll -30%)
[08:39:58] GM: otherwise you'll have to burn an action to run up and into point blank range.
[08:40:28] GM: The pirate grunts at the slice and will try to roll punch fall [1d20+8] => [13,8] = (21)
[08:40:32] GM: Half damage
[08:40:46] GM: Komi, this guy apparently has some skillz!
[08:40:59] GM: Sarah…what do?
[08:41:27] GM: Ima face palm ina second here.
[08:41:41] 2Lt. Sarah: (( sorry ))
[08:41:44] 2Lt. Sarah: (( parent disturbed ))
[08:41:49] GM: Cause I know what you should do
[08:42:31] 2Lt. Sarah: [1d100+30] => [84,30] = (114) thrust leap, vs. 108%/98%
[08:42:36] 2Lt. Sarah: (( obviously not that ))
[08:43:06] GM: Yeah…that wsa a bad call
[08:43:23] 2lt.Alvaro: (oh damn, you crash into everyone)
[08:43:26] GM: and you are gonna HATE yourself int he morning when you realize what you should have done.
[08:43:50] 2Lt. Sarah: (( … ))
[08:44:07] GM: [1d5] => [2] = (2) 1top, 2 bottom, 3 left, 4 right, 5 forward (overshoot)
[08:44:38] GM: You try to not put so much thrust into the jump and fall short, and land on the dogs back.
[08:44:51] GM: Both the dog and you lose one attack
[08:45:07] 2Lt. Sarah: (( sigh ))
[08:45:31] GM: Nyx and kain, and alvaro
[08:45:42] GM: Nyx and Kain, you have really really bad shapes
[08:46:02] GM: like Sarah, 15+ nat to hit the one target you can partially see
[08:46:35] GM: the target to teh left Komi has pushed back and the one on the right is not gonna give you a piece.
[08:47:26] GM: Alvaro, you on the other hand have a great angle on the two on the right (your left now, facing them) komi obstructs your shot of her piddy
[08:48:08] WO Febrith Nyx looks at the situatioin and looks for the most sane thing to do. ((not 100% sure what's going on right now, so no smart answers wtihout useful information.)) [1d20+1] => [8,1] = (9) PERC, [1d30] => [6] = (6) vs 23 IQ
[08:48:40] 2lt.Alvaro fires a burst from his M90C at one of the two on the right and comments on radio "I thought you all worked together before" ([1d20+5] => [20,5] = (25) dmg [(1d10*10)+12] => 112)
[08:48:47] 2lt.Alvaro: (booyah)
[08:48:55] GM: You are downright flusterpated at how fast this has turned into a royal clusterfuck
[08:49:34] GM: It's actually quite amazing to you Nyx, and if it wasn't so crucial, it would almost be worth it to sit back and try and see how it all plays out
[08:50:20] GM: Holy shit, Alvaro you turn the one nearest the center of teh intersection into paste, both the dog and sarah are covered in whats left of him
[08:50:42] WO Febrith Nyx: ((yeah, I know that, but I need some clarification as to what I'm seeing even if I'm missing some of the details. I know Komi is in close quarters the dog went off to shoot that back-shooter, and then Sarah did something that caused something, and ya, I'm lost. and I'm not taking any actions until I know what I'm looking at even if I don't get to see it all…))
[08:50:56] GM: alright, take a pause, and I'll draw it out
[08:51:15] 2lt.Alvaro: (you can draw a clusterfuck, must see :) )
[08:51:28] GM: I'm talented like that
[08:51:34] 2Lt. Sarah: (( rofl ))
[08:52:31] WO Febrith Nyx: ((Well, I can find some pics of some rather large orgies online, but that's a very different kind of clusterfuck…))
[08:52:42] 2Lt. Sarah: (( lmao ))
[08:53:00] LtJG Silver: (( lol ))
[08:53:46] GM: I think that about covers it
[08:53:48] GM: Not to scale
[08:54:18] GM: @ nyx, drawn those
[08:54:32] WO Febrith Nyx: ((Can I show wehre I want to move Kain and Nyx this action?))
[08:54:56] LtJG Silver: (( lol no worries the pics nix mentioned probibly arent either ^_^ ))
[08:55:36] GM: kk, they are on the bounce
[08:56:10] GM: Komi your action
[08:56:16] WO Febrith Nyx: ((nevermind, I basically want to move them up next to the corners without going around the corner. With Nyx standing in Terminator puddin.))
[08:56:34] GM: kk
[08:57:05] Capt. Komillia Maeless grins under her armor and tries to go for neck slashes. [1d20+9] => [17,9] = (26) [1d20+9] => [16,9] = (25)
[08:57:21] GM: [1d20+8] => [7,8] = (15) and [1d20+8] => [1,8] = (9)
[08:57:42] Capt. Komillia Maeless: [3d6+14] => [4,4,2,14] = (24) [3d6+14] => [4,1,4,14] = (23)
[08:57:49] GM: And that guys just got diced, damage please, he will try to roll with it tho [1d20+8] => [7,8] = (15) and [1d20+8] => [7,8] = (15)
[08:58:10] GM: You silce him into three equal sized chiunks.
[08:58:20] 2Lt. Sarah: (( lol. :p :) ))
[08:58:23] 2Lt. Sarah: (( ew ))
[08:59:07] GM: last pirate fires at what he can see and that the Dog [1d20+7] => [12,7] = (19)
[08:59:48] LtJG Silver attempts to bob out of the way of the attack [1d20+6] => [12,6] = (18)
[08:59:52] GM: [3d6+3] => [1,4,1,3] = (9)
[08:59:57] GM: [1d100] => [73] = (73)
[09:00:06] GM: [1d100] => [9] = (9)
[09:00:23] GM: [1d4] => [4] = (4)
[09:00:35] GM: Dog loses it's ability to snif out explosives.
[09:00:54] 2Lt. Sarah: (( great. lol :p ))
[09:00:55] GM: Komi
[09:01:19] LtJG Silver is steadily working to silence the racket coming from his terminal as bitching betty goes off and warninglights flash left and right
[09:01:47] LtJG Silver: ((dmg to head then? or mb still :P ))
[09:02:02] GM: MB, computer damage
[09:02:09] 2Lt. Sarah: (( doubt a remote control dog has a bitching betty, but it'd have malfunction alert flashing on the screen continuously ))
[09:02:13] 2Lt. Sarah: (( hehehe ))
[09:02:44] GM: Although I think at this point Anji looks over and noting the damage counters asks if Alvaro wants another quarter.
[09:02:47] LtJG Silver: (( yeah im sure it will do something to that effect at my terminal lol ))
[09:03:25] LtJG Silver: (( stupid alarms i can read ^_^ ))
[09:03:33] Capt. Komillia Maeless points her CADS at the remaining terminator. "Bitch, please. Stand down or end up on the chopping block."
[09:03:44] GM: [1d100] => [41] = (41)
[09:03:54] GM: Pirate drops his weapon
[09:05:09] GM: Okay, what do?
[09:06:09] Capt Kain Crockett has the terminator properly restrained and proceeds to the engineering section.
[09:06:19] 2lt.Alvaro lets the experts handle the captive
[09:06:42] GM: You get to the engineering section and see that there are three pirates holding the engineering crew at cun point.
[09:06:45] GM: gun
[09:07:26] GM: All right REF scum! Any closer and these guys get perforated!
[09:08:28] 2lt.Alvaro looks to the others
[09:09:22] Capt Kain Crockett looks at what the hostage wearer is wearing in terms of PS-enhancing armor. [1d20+1] => [11,1] = (12) PERC, [1d100] => [34] = (34) vs 70 RSI
[09:09:51] GM: Two are in legionair armor, and one is in some looted CVR-3
[09:10:15] GM: ((all repainted and piraty))
[09:10:18] Capt Kain Crockett: ((So, they have regular human PS? Good.))
[09:11:34] Capt Kain Crockett: ((Oh wait, they're aren't in movie "human shield posistion"…))
[09:12:05] 2lt.Alvaro comments "Let me fire smoke; then komi and someone else can rush in with melee to disarm or neutralize"
[09:12:22] WO Febrith Nyx: ":et me try to talk them down first."
[09:12:22] GM: there are four hostages, kneeling and bound, with two of the pirates with their guns at their back, the CVR clad on has one hostage by the neck with a pistol at his head.
[09:14:30] LtJG Silver has the pup's stance widen as he lowers his head and pops open his missile bays aiming into the engeneering bay "just tell him if they waist the hostages we'll waist them"
[09:14:50] LtJG Silver: (( ready to pop missiles bays but didnt sry typed that wrong))
[09:14:55] GM: [3d100] => [82,38,21] = (141)
[09:15:13] GM: One of the pirates looks especially disturbed at the dogs actions.
[09:15:22] WO Febrith Nyx: "This is going to end badly for you. There is no scenario in this where you win. You surrender, and this is a lot less painful. You shoot those captives we turn you into pudding, clone you and then put your clones through the grinder. You try attacking us without killing the hostages, and we use that moment to paint the wall behind you with your blood. What'll it be?" [1d100] => [25] = (25) vs 68 Psych Warfare, [1d100] => [77] = (77) vs 92 Charm.
[09:15:55] GM: The pirates look at one another then at the 'boss'.
[09:17:13] GM: The Pirate boss steps forward gun still at the head of his hostage. "You give your word! Your WORD! that we get out of here alive!
[09:18:13] Capt Kain Crockett: "I'll do you one better, you give us somthing to take down the other pirates on this ship, and I'll let you go."
[09:18:52] GM: Like what? the pirate asks, intrigued.
[09:19:43] Capt Kain Crockett: "Information on who the lynchpins in the group are, we take them out and the rest of your buddies should fold, right?"
[09:21:54] GM: Sure why not. Never liked him anyway, hes up on the bridge. Most of the others dont like him to much eaiter, but he has his select crew with him.
[09:23:06] Capt Kain Crockett: "So we space him and the rest of the crew becomes more ammeable to just leaving?"
[09:23:32] GM: Try killing him, you'll never capture him alive.
[09:23:49] GM: He's not as…conversational as i am.
[09:23:52] Capt Kain Crockett: "Didn't imagine I would."
[09:26:37] 2lt.Alvaro checks his weapon
[09:26:50] LtJG Silver: (( ive gotta call it a night here, :( ))
[09:27:05] 2Lt. Sarah: (( *patpats* night ))
[09:27:29] LtJG Silver: (( night, night all ))
[09:27:54] LtJG Silver: Disconnecting from server…
[09:27:54] LV (exit): 21:27
[09:27:59] Capt Kain Crockett waits for them to let the crew go and then tells them to head to the shuttles. Once they are way out of hearing drops an encrypted message to the Havoc.
[09:28:11] Capt Kain Crockett: ((LEt me know when it is safe to send this message.))
[09:29:09] GM: it's safe, andI'll assume we have the dog escort them
[09:29:55] GM: The pirates, while turning over their hostages, do not turn over their weapons.
[09:31:53] Capt Kain Crockett: "Havoc, this is ((insert squad name here)) we have a couple of not-quite surrendered pirates heading back to their shuttles. I said that I would let them go. If the Captain of the Havoc makes some other decision, I recommend you wait for all the other pirates to leave in their shuttles and use the Havoc's guns. Purely on the Captain's decision, though."
[09:33:56] WO1 Summerwind: Roger that assault team.
[09:34:03] WO1 Summerwind: Proceed on mission.
[09:35:13] Capt Kain Crockett: "Alright everyone, we're head to command. Hope we can take the leader out and end this without more civilian casualties. I'm not holding my breath too much, but 7 vs 40 is not good odds even for us. Now let's go."
[09:35:37] GM: You take another 30 seconds to get back to teh boat bay then head past Cargo 2
[09:35:48] GM: [1d100] => [91] = (91)
[09:36:51] GM: As you head up into the crew berthing areas you can hear female screams and male laughter
[09:37:36] Capt Kain Crockett secretly hopes these rapists get fried by the havoc when they leave, but the shortest was to end this is to cut off the head.
[09:38:13] 2lt.Alvaro moves towards the screams
[09:38:36] GM: The corridor is about the same size as before, lined with doors to crew berths
[09:38:52] Capt Kain Crockett: "Alvaro, form up. I want to help them too, but if we waste time here, they may be in for worse later."
[09:39:12] GM: about say, 100 foot down is a open door with a trio of pirates clustered around it, watching and laughing at soemthing going on in the room
[09:39:49] 2lt.Alvaro skids to a stop and looks back to Kain; then to the event unfolding. "Very well sir" and heads back to group
[09:40:03] GM: well, you do kinda have to get past them to get to the forward area so…
[09:40:19] GM: These ships arent really fancy,
[09:40:37] GM: central core running lenghtwise with cargo pods strapped to it.
[09:41:11] 2lt.Alvaro rethinks what Kain said and turns; firing a burst at one of the three laughing ([1d20+5] => [8,5] = (13) dmg [(1d10*10)+12] => 92)
[09:41:15] 2Lt. Sarah: (( like the container transports in the old X-Wing games? ))
[09:41:29] GM: kinda like that, or the ones from BSG as well
[09:41:41] GM: Colonial moving, but on a massive scale
[09:42:05] GM: since these ships and their cargo pods are about as long as a Zent destroyer
[09:42:31] GM: basically a command pod up front, engine pod in the back, central boat bay, and cargo cargo cargo
[09:43:16] GM: now, military cargo ships follow more in line with a Zent LST model, with bonefide decks and such, wrapped in an armor cocoon
[09:44:14] GM: Alvaro, the die is cast and the central of the three laughing pirates erupts into a torent of shredded armor and flesh
[09:45:00] GM: komi your action
[09:46:04] Capt. Komillia Maeless turns a fires her Gallant at one of the rapists. [1d20+9] => [6,9] = (15)
[09:46:13] GM: damage
[09:46:46] GM: sarah your action
[09:48:28] Capt. Komillia Maeless: [1d4*10+20] => 60
[09:48:58] GM: komi;s target drops as well, lanced thru but sereing energy
[09:51:54] GM: ((carrie is typing so I'm waiting for that then I'll move forward))
[09:52:00] 2Lt. Sarah: (( and… nm ))
[09:52:03] 2Lt. Sarah fires her M90c at the third, quickly. [1d20+7+5] => [14,7,5] = (26)
[09:52:06] GM: ((or not))
[09:52:11] GM: damage
[09:52:23] 2Lt. Sarah: [(1d10*10)+20] => 60
[09:52:31] GM: the thrid target is splattered
[09:53:03] GM: komi your action again
[09:53:16] Capt. Komillia Maeless: "Anyone else want to play rapist? Or are you going to behave while we go kill your leader?"
[09:54:35] GM: Um…I'll assume you trot up to the door a 100 foot away…
[09:55:14] 2lt.Alvaro rushes to door
[09:55:22] GM: wiat for turns
[09:55:28] GM: still in combat of sorts
[09:55:41] GM: so Komi is moving towards the door at best speed
[09:55:47] Capt. Komillia Maeless alright goes for the door.
[09:56:08] GM: nyx kain alvaro
[09:57:36] 2lt.Alvaro: ..
[09:58:14] GM: [50*5] => 250
[09:58:35] GM: [250*3.3] => 825.0
[09:58:42] GM: [825/15] => 55
[09:58:55] 2Lt. Sarah: (( er? ))
[09:59:06] GM: komi it will take two actions to reach the door (remember your turster was shot up last encounter)
[09:59:29] GM: so this move action, then s2nd will be the arrive action
[09:59:42] GM: nyx kain and alvaro, your turns
[09:59:50] 2lt.Alvaro rushes to the door as well
[09:59:54] WO Febrith Nyx: ((which door are we headed to?))
[10:00:07] GM: the door that the no dead laughing rapiss were at
[10:00:35] WO Febrith Nyx will wait on the others to finish.
[10:00:54] Capt Kain Crockett shakes his head and walks toward the door.
[10:00:56] GM: Alvaro you make it there in a single thruster assisted leap
[10:02:09] GM: The pirates in side, one turns to see what the commotion is all about, and why something hit and wet got splattered all over his back, the other is to engrossed in his play to notice.
[10:02:29] GM: Komi you arrive at the door
[10:03:41] GM: at which point you see the one pirate with his pants down around his ankles a fast fading erection and a shocked look on his face as two cyclones stand before him
[10:04:13] GM: Sarah, your action
[10:04:20] 2Lt. Sarah hurries for the door as well.
[10:04:38] GM: Sarah you are at the door, and you may act
[10:04:54] GM: Alvaro you may act as well
[10:05:46] GM: ((needless to say, the pirates arent in their armor…))
[10:07:10] 2lt.Alvaro skips into the room and goes to throw a punch at the rapist (to hit [1d20+6] => [9,6] = (15) dmg[1d6+28] => [5,28] = (33))
[10:07:24] GM: what scale of samage is that
[10:07:26] GM: damage
[10:07:47] GM: [1d20+8] => [12,8] = (20)
[10:08:00] 2lt.Alvaro: (sdc)
[10:08:39] 2Lt. Sarah: (( trying to find what the Cyclone's str was, ))
[10:08:53] 2lt.Alvaro: (+10 to wearers PS)
[10:09:23] GM: he manages to get a block up deflecting the blow
[10:09:53] GM: grunting in pain as an armored glove impacts his forarm
[10:10:15] GM: Sarah, gonna be tought for you to get in with a cyclone in your way
[10:10:25] GM: tough
[10:12:55] 2Lt. Sarah: (( in that case, pass ))
[10:13:22] 2Lt. Sarah: (( since there's not4hing I can really do to get in a small door with him in there, and the Cyc almost certainly blocks an M90c shot ))
[10:14:08] GM: no, it wouldnt, it just occupy's the space in front of you preventing you from entering the room, unless you and Alvaro were really good friends and wanted to pretend to be sardines
[10:14:45] GM: he does however block the pirate in front of him, but the one pounding away on the other bed…you can see
[10:15:11] 2Lt. Sarah: (( yes, pounding away with someone underneath him. ))
[10:15:17] GM: yes,
[10:15:20] 2Lt. Sarah: (( I'm not going to risk that shot and risk holing the one underneath. ))
[10:15:49] Capt Kain Crockett: ((SDC weapons? A verbal threat with a gun pointed at him?))
[10:15:49] GM: you arent shooting down are you
[10:16:02] GM: you would be shooting across
[10:17:20] GM: I dunno, for me the natural question would be…if worried about hitting the victim, what ,koff, position are they in
[10:17:52] 2Lt. Sarah: (( yes, and how well shielded from her weapon are they? If enough, well, fine. ))
[10:18:00] GM: kinda gross yes, but extreamly useful information
[10:18:37] 2Lt. Sarah: (( you understand my hesitation to listen to you saying that, after you mentioned something about thruster leaping, then after I did it said it was the wrong thing to do ))
[10:19:03] GM: well, if I may be so bold…you should've teleported…
[10:19:30] GM: whats the point of playing an invid pricess when you dont do invidy things now and again
[10:19:48] 2Lt. Sarah: (( teleport… -1 action, attack bonuses reduced by half for 10 minutes after ))
[10:20:15] 2Lt. Sarah: (( there's a down side to do ing that in a shootout, but I'll remember next time. ))
[10:20:30] 2Lt. Sarah takes aim and snipes a shot for the one on the bed, a single bullet. [1d20+7+5] => [10,7,5] = (22)
[10:20:58] GM: we can codify distance requiremtns into that next time, but for me, a 'skip' of 20 foot tops, didnt seem to me to be a jump that would cause undue stress.
[10:21:07] GM: P…luggedhim!
[10:21:30] 2Lt. Sarah: (( last time I mentioned something about allowing sarah to be more invidy, forget what it was, but a threat of brightslapping was mentioned. ))
[10:21:31] GM: damage single shot
[10:21:33] 2Lt. Sarah: (( lol ))
[10:21:52] GM: well becuase you wanted to do naughty things with your powers
[10:22:01] GM: which werent approprite
[10:22:04] 2Lt. Sarah: [2d6+4] => [2,1,4] = (7) dmg
[10:22:10] 2Lt. Sarah: (( … ))
[10:22:12] 2Lt. Sarah: MDC weapon
[10:22:15] 2Lt. Sarah: (( does it matter dmg? ))
[10:22:19] 2Lt. Sarah: (( it hits, he's dead ))
[10:22:31] GM: you miss his head, but tear him in half underneath the armpits.
[10:22:37] 2Lt. Sarah: (( lol ))
[10:22:52] GM: now to woman is screaming, but for a different reason
[10:23:08] GM: komi your action
[10:23:15] 2Lt. Sarah makes a face. "Well, that helped a whole whopping lot." She shakes her head.
[10:23:20] GM: smae issue as Sarah, you have an Alvaro in your way
[10:23:31] GM: but you do have pointy bits
[10:24:22] Capt. Komillia Maeless: "Alvaro! Move back and let me stab him."
[10:24:27] 2Lt. Sarah: (( yeah, poke him in the ass with it and tell em to move ;) ))
[10:24:31] Capt. Komillia Maeless holds action until she has a clean shot.
[10:24:35] GM: cattle prod
[10:25:16] GM: Pirate [1d100] => [20] = (20) 1-50% surrenders 51+% goes for a gun
[10:25:51] GM: Alvaro you can move if you want to, or strike, or move…
[10:26:00] GM: (I said move twoce didnt i…))
[10:26:45] 2Lt. Sarah: (( as did a full captain, 2Lt Alvero :p ))
[10:27:15] 2lt.Alvaro moves the lets the Captain play butcher
[10:27:34] GM: Komi two actions, one held, and one new
[10:27:58] GM: Super Komi Ginsu Action time now!
[10:28:12] Capt. Komillia Maeless removes the heads of the pirate bastard in question with twin strikes. [1d20+9] => [8,9] = (17) [1d20+9] => [18,9] = (27) [1d20+9] => [7,9] = (16) [1d20+9] => [11,9] = (20)
[10:28:36] GM: [1d20+8] => [13,8] = (21) [1d20+8] => [1,8] = (9)
[10:28:56] 2Lt. Sarah: (( hehe ))
[10:29:36] GM: he ducks under the top head strike, but ohhhhhh never expected the lower head to be the target, it is no longer there… he emits a high pitched squal and the last two strikes fillet him
[10:29:50] 2Lt. Sarah: (( bwhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ))
[10:30:04] 2Lt. Sarah: (( :D ))
[10:30:24] GM: ((he did say head(s)
[10:30:41] 2Lt. Sarah: (( rofl, yes, he did ))
[10:31:00] Capt. Komillia Maeless: ((with that intent…))
[10:31:05] GM: Everyone in the room loses an action as they rear back and wince, then men lose two attacks as they are all DAYUMM!
[10:31:18] GM: even the bridge crew thru the combat feed are stunned
[10:31:49] 2Lt. Sarah: (( remember day after tomorrow where Suki frowned and shook her head at Sarah for trying to sniper shoot a guy there? ;p ))
[10:31:51] GM:
[10:32:42] 2Lt. Sarah: (( hehe ))
[10:33:08] Capt. Komillia Maeless: ((ugh, I had to think who ran that for a moment. That was marcus's game that brought some of us together wasn't it?))
[10:33:21] 2Lt. Sarah: (( yup ))
[10:33:24] 2lt.Alvaro: (hehehe)
[10:33:38] 2Lt. Sarah: (( it was at one part of the forevergrind that was Cuba. ))
[10:33:52] GM: Yeah, and then Sarah freaked out ans was all scared after Suki lopped that dudes head off
[10:34:26] 2Lt. Sarah: (( no one knew what she was there, she thought if they found out, she'd be on the receiving end of that before she could blink ))
[10:35:03] GM: was funny, he had an entire encounter with those leapers, and I was all like, 'why no sir, I do NOT stop to investigate the errie glowing green light coming from that sewer line. Why, I keep flying down the tunnle.
[10:35:27] 2Lt. Sarah: (( lol ))
[10:35:29] 2Lt. Sarah: (( :D ))
[10:35:35] 2Lt. Sarah: (( anyhow ))
[10:35:45] GM: We still had to fight them anwyway…but yeah moving on
[10:37:42] GM: you have secured the area
[10:38:20] GM: Allright, you guys proceed forward.
[10:38:46] 2Lt. Sarah: (( I assume we pulled the dead body off that one trapped woman? :p ))
[10:38:49] 2Lt. Sarah: (( lol ))
[10:39:11] GM: Yeah, off and … out.
[10:39:23] 2Lt. Sarah: ew
[10:39:27] GM: yup
[10:40:09] GM: moving forward
[10:40:35] GM: you are near the bridge, it being a deck up after a stairway
[10:41:43] Capt Kain Crockett looks at the door to the bridge, is it locked or any signs of booby traps? [1d20+1] => [1,1] = (2) PERC, [1d100] => [70] = (70) vs 70 RSI
[10:42:01] Capt Kain Crockett: ((Cannot get the image of the castration out of his ming.))
[10:42:08] GM: well, as shitty as that RSI roll was, a success is a success
[10:43:24] GM: the door isnt locked, it's open (door is at the top of the stairs) and you do pick up two thermal signatures near it, inside.
[10:43:31] 2Lt. Sarah: (( … the hell… ))
[10:44:34] 2Lt. Sarah: (( my laptop just shut itself off ))
[10:44:39] 2Lt. Sarah: (( for seemingly no reason ))
[10:44:49] Attempting to assign the role of Player to (1) Carrie…
[10:44:54] GM: kk, quick pic up on map, kinda like that
[10:45:08] 2Lt. Sarah: (( lol ))
[10:45:27] GM: grey is the hole in the upper decking
[10:46:19] GM: the hatchway and door is big enough for a karberran to pass thru, one at a time, so it will handle your cyclones
[10:46:27] GM: but in single file
[10:46:43] Carrie (enter): 22:46
[10:46:58] GM: ((I'll not start this encounter tonight, as it will take a while))
[10:47:08] Carrie: (( aww, oh ))
[10:47:25] GM: I'll just give you the hint now and consider this a freebie tactics roll, this will need to be a fast and dynamic entry
[10:47:51] GM: stright up Navy SEAL shit required
[10:48:08] Carrie: (( o.o k ))
[10:48:16] Capt. Komillia Maeless: ((Alright.))
[10:48:30] GM: so…i dunno…koff flashbangs koff
[10:48:31] Carrie: (( is it one room, or is there a head or ready room or anything? ))
[10:48:35] GM: stuff like that
